John Muir sent a letter to Theodore Roosevelt in 1903 concerning the delightful time he had in Arizona with John Burroughs. He mentioned showing him the Petrified Forest and Grand Canyon. Lastly he hopes "to have the pleasure of guiding him through the Yosemite National Park".He also mentions his worry for President Roosevelt's sailing to Africa.
